LORI CULLEN’S BLOOD WONDER IS OUT NOW! M✓A✓P✓L✓ Canadian songwriter Lori Cullen delivers ten original contemporary folk songs with a pure, unaffected style. BLOOD WONDER tells the story of Lori’s intimate journey of motherhood. Of her longing to be a mother, the loss of failed pregnancies, the pain of a stillbirth, the birth of her son and the joy that motherhood now brings. The optimistic and hopeful songs were composed with Lori’s guitar and voice and include two co-writes with friends Ron Sexsmith and Jennifer Foster. Co-produced by her dear friend Chris Gartner, it features lush strings by Grammy-nominated arranger Drew Jurecka and additional vocals by Michelle Willis and Thom Gill.
Unforced, unfiltered and exceptionally intimate, Lori Cullen’s aerial voice has been called “one of the purest of a generation”. She is a searingly direct and authentically driven artist and in her eight albums she’s taken chances every time.
