Blues – Vivascene

Howlin’ Wolf ~’Howlin’ Wolf’ Album Review

A scintillating album, one of the greatest blues records ever made.

Etta James accomplished so much more than her early goal of becoming “a raunchy blues singer”.

Clapton’s 19th album is up there with the best of them, providing a great musical history lesson in this release.

Alexander’s magnificent debut album back in 1961 marked the beginning of Muscle Shoals’ musical importance.

Willie was a modern day renaissance man: musician, singer/songwriter, arranger, producer and founding father of the Chicago Blues sound.

The legacy that Muddy Waters left behind is the stuff of legend, making timeless music, universal in its power to touch and move us deeply.
